1: Day to Night
This tutorial wasn't particularly difficult to follow, although a lot of the steps mainly applied to the image the man was working with (it involved a glowing object and its lighting), so there was a lot of unnecessary information. It can be applied to any image, though it may not look the best. It involves a lot of layer masks, therefore exact replication is difficult.

2: Old Paper Effect
This tutorial was very easy to follow with direct steps and the ability to exactly replicate the effect in the video with any image (links in the description provided texture images to use as well). Though the individual had an accent, visual cues were provided to make sure every step was clearly shown (as well as commands) and exact numerical values for color shifts, etc. In fact, this tutorial showed how to apply the effect to both light and dark images, so that it doesn't look "off" if your image was darker than the first one he used.
