This image depicts a man "rock-climbing" on a young girl's face. The girl's eyes are a desaturated shade of green or blue, and one can see all of the little hairs and bits on her face due to the detailed reality of the shot. The man is standing on the bridge of her nose, holding onto a very thin rope. The image is most likely photoshopped unless there's an undiscovered alien specimen of tiny human beings somewhere out there. One could interpret this image as the man quite literally stepping over the girl's boundaries, or it could depict a parent making their way through the process of their child's growth. The photographer may have intended for this image to be darker than it appears (it utilizes very desaturated colors and the girl's eyes appear scared or shocked). To me, the image depicts an abstract concept that cannot be observed by a simple glance (as most pieces of art, really), though the concept in itself could be easily interpreted differently depending on what kind of person the viewer is. In my eyes, it appears as a simple image (with lots of photographic details) that might have a darker meaning, or perhaps I'm looking too much into things. The massive size difference between the "rock-climber" and the girl could possibly signify how a parent might feel like only a small part of their child's life, or how parenting in itself is a vast, unfamiliar territory that many adults could find themselves lost in.
